					  My fatyer and I stayed a week in the static caravan. Accommodation was comfortable and well kept. Well stocked kitchen and the beds really comfortable.

The campsite and fishery on a whole is well kept, and you defineitely find a peace there. 

Early hours there is an absolute silence, something I have not experienced before.

The campsite is far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet but close enough to walk to the village pub for great food.

Fishing although at first difficult was exceptionally good.

2 10+lb carp and one well into its 20s. A good bag of bream and tench, and countless silvers.

The lakes really are set in a picturesque enviroment and well laid out for an early morning or evening stroll. My father and I stated a week and halfway through our stay, already booked a static caravan for next year.

Darren and Hannah are exceptional hosts and go out of their way to accommodate you and make sure your stay is as best it can be as ours was.

If you are looking for a comfortable break away, far enough in the country but close to local amenities the Yet Y Gorse really is the place to go.

I really loved it there and will make it a regular yearly thing to do on my agenda.

					  What a find, spent two days fishing for carp on Heron lake,the fishing was great with good condition mirror and commons being regularly caught. Really loved observing the wildlife around... read more the lake which included kingfishers,swallows and some of the best coloured dragonflies I've seen. Stayed in one of the static caravan which was very comfortable and well equipped. Many thanks to owners Alison and Norman who made me feel very welcomed throughout my stay.

Great fishery with some beautiful fish to be caught,

Will most definitely be returning to visit Darren and Hannah and the MANY places we didn't get chance to visit on our weeks holiday,

Would definitely recommend

					Stayed here a few years ago, decided to give the fishing another go, as whilst difficult at time a great bit of sport. Couldn't have asked for more from Darren and Hannah terrific hosts, what an absolute pleasure it was, having the lakes to ourselves.

					This really is a place for rest and relaxation. The setting and the way its laid out, and the peace I felt from the moment I got there was just awesome. The caravan is comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. The showers hot and well maintained as are the grounds.The fishing is challenging but well stocked lakes gave us many hours of pleasure. Had some decent fish too.Hannah and Darren are a real pleasure to be around and will go out of their way to accommodate you. This is really one of those places you really want the holiday never to end.

					Just returned from a lovely break. Darren and Hannah are owners. The site is wonderful with lovely lakes and so peaceful. We will definitely be returning.
